Cuadernos de Investigación Histórica has been indexed in SCOPUS
Cuadernos de Investigación Histórica, the journal of the "Cisneros" History Seminar of the Spanish University Foundation, has been accepted for inclusion in this important database. The indexing of the contents will take place over the next three months. This indexing in SCOPUS is the result of the coordinated and disinterested work of the investigating authors of C.I.H., its Editorial Board, its Scientific Advisory Board, the reviewers and the members of the editorial office. The main international indexes have reaffirmed the quality of the journal's content, and we can only continue to give thanks and promise that we will continue to improve with new challenges in the near future.
Scopus is a platform owned by the Elsevier company containing 18,000 journals published by more than 5,000 international publishers. In recent years, membership in Scopus has been a quality differentiator for academic journals. In fact, it currently incorporates one of the most important impact indices when evaluating research sections: the SJR (Scimago Journal Rank), which, through a system of quartiles, allows access to information such as the number of citations or the degree of international presence of the journal. All authors who have published in Cuadernos de Investigación Histórica (and those who do so from now on) will benefit from the evaluations of their research activity by the accreditation agencies.
