Marx and Technique: Does Human Progress Entail the Exploitation of Nature?
Abstract
This paper aims to analyze the ideas that Marx developed in reference to the technification of the world. The objective of this analysis is to denounce the possible repercussion that this technifying gaze brought within it: the overexploitation of Nature. The article will conclude that only a critical and theoretical view, a view that analyzes the meaning and purpose of technical innovations, would be able to focus these innovations towards the improvement of humanity.
