Cuadernos de Pensamiento. Call for papers 2024

Dear Researchers,

We are pleased to announce that the journal Cuadernos de Pensamiento is currently accepting manuscripts for the Call for Papers number 37. Human Interiority - Presence, Consciousness, Education, until 1 September 2024. This issue aims to bring together original and unpublished studies that address the subject from the fields of philosophy, ethics and related disciplines, etc. It is a broad topic of great interest nowadays in view of the social transformation that is driving a change of cultural paradigm.

We also invite you to send your contributions to the new Miscellaneous section of the journal, which is permanently open to the reception of manuscripts and also subject to the double-blind process. The journal is also permanently open to receive reviews of books related to philosophical, legal, political and humanistic thought.

The issue is coordinated by Dra. Miriam Ramos Gómez (Catholic University of Ávila) and Dra. María Luisa Pro Velasco (Catholic University of Ávila).

LANGUAGES: contributions should preferably be written in Spanish or English, although the inclusion of other languages could be discussed upon justified request.

December 2024: launch of the new issue

PUBLICATION STANDARDS: latest version of the APA citation style (seventh edition).

Authors who have published in C.P.E. have received positive evaluation of their articles by ANECA, both in the Teacher Evaluation Program and in the ACADEMIA Program and by the CNEAI.

ABOUT THE JOURNAL:

The journal Cuadernos de Pensamiento, published annually, is the journal of the “Ángel González Álvarez” Seminario de Pensamiento of the Fundación Universitaria Española. Its objective is the investigation and dissemination of philosophical, legal, political and pedagogical thought, from a multidisciplinary perspective. Only original articles are published. Our journal counts with the solidity and professionalism of more than thirty years in the edition of academic texts (since 1987). It guarantees a rigorous peer review, short deadlines for publication, professional edition and wide dissemination and impact through an open access system. Well-known authors such as Julián Marías, Alfonso López Quintás, Joseph Seifert, Alejandro Llano, María Antonia Bel Bravo, Rafael Alvira, Ignacio Sánchez Cámara, among others, have published in this journal.

Since 2018, it has also been published in an electronic version, and we have begun the process for it to be in the most important databases. It has been evaluated and included in DOAJ (Directory of Open Access Journals), Redalyc, Catálogo 2.0 Latindex, ERIHPlus and REDIB (Ibero-American Network of Innovation and Scientific Knowledge). It is indexed in  Miar (University of Barcelona), in Carhus Plus (Next catalog), in Dialnet (University of La Rioja). It has been included in the ESBCO specialized database of The Philosopher´s Index with Full Text; and appears in the C.I.R.C. classification as group B Human Sciences. It also has a presence in most university libraries and national research centers through the REBIUN Library network.

Likewise, we remind you that the journal accepts book reviews in each of its issues, related to the journal´s focus. We invite you to carefully read the guidelines for authors and to send your proposals.
