Preservation

This journal is published in two versions: printed, preserved and distributed internationally, and digital, with free access to its complete content. In addition, it guarantees permanent access to digital objects through backup copies and the assignment of DOI to each article.

CILH is part of the digital content preservation network PKP PN (Public Knowledge Project’s Private LOCKSS Network (PKP-PN)), which generates a decentralized archive system, distributed among collaborating libraries, in order to create a permanent archive of the journal for the conservation of the original content and its possible need for restoration.

In addition, CILH it deposits its metadata in different national and international repositories to guarantee long-term digital preservation, such as Dialnet, DOAJ (Directory of Open Access Journals), LATINDEX and REDIB (Ibero-American Network of Innovation and Scientific Knowledge).
