Monograph 2024, no. 50, on bohemian literature

The monographic section of number 50, corresponding to the year 2024, is titled: "THE GREEN MUSE: MYTH AND REALITY OF HISPANIC BOHEMIAN LITERATURE", coordinated by Professor Rocío Santiago Nogales (UNED-UCM).
Authors interested in publishing in it will be able to upload their works to the journal's platform before proceeding to anonymous peer review by external specialists.
A monograph on bohemian literature is proposed to discuss what the turn-of-the-century and early 20th century bohemianism that developed both in Spain and Latin America is and what it actually was, distinguishing bohemian writers from works that deal with bohemianism ( either as defense or criticism). It will try to have an interdisciplinary character that seeks its relationship with other fields such as journalism or editorial work; that studies it from both restrictive and general perspectives; that separates the halo of legend that has always existed around them from reality and that dusts off the quantifiable contributions of these artists who created their own culture and their social struggle, trying to determine if they really formed the basis of a movement or a literary generation that was He resigned himself to being “the missing link.”
With these objectives, a call is made to the scientific community to participate in the monograph, presenting their originals with the following thematic lines:
1. Bohemia and pseudo-bohemia
2. Spanish Bohemia
3. Spanish American Bohemia
4. Bohemian contemporaries
5. Interdisciplinary studies on bohemia
Manuscripts related to the monograph will be received until April 30, 2024.
We also invite you to send your contributions to the Miscellany section of the journal, permanently open to receiving manuscripts and also subject to the double-blind process. The CILH are also permanently open to receiving reviews of critical works of Hispanic literature.
