«Descendimiento» by Ada Salas: an Aesthetic Journey between Two Arts

Ada Salas’s Descendimiento presents the particularity of bringing together several poems related to a 15th century Flemish table elaborated by Van der Weyden. This work is organized around the poem «(Écfrasis –ahora sí–. Inventario)», and highlights the presence of the iconographic work within the lyrical composition. The poetic voice –through the lexicon, the structure, the rhythm, the implicit and the symbolic– invites to a continuous visualization of the Flemish work.
